Visit Tor Books and Tor.com Publishing at San Diego Comic-Con 2017!

Tor Books and Tor.com Publishing have just released their lineup for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International, including appearances by Charlie Jane Anders, Seanan McGuire, Paul Cornell, and many more authors from both imprints! Anders will share the stage with Orlando Jones and John Barrowman at the same time, while Annalee Newitz and Cory Doctorow will talk about how “The Future is Bleak” (yay!). And there will be plenty of giveaways and signings, so if you’ve been looking to nab a copy of Newitz’s Autonomous or K Arsenault Rivera’s The Tiger’s Daughter, now’s the time!

  Paul Cornell (Chalk) moderates this version of the BBC radio game show Just a Minute. The object of the game is for panelists to talk for 60 seconds on a given subject “without hesitation, repetition, or deviation.” The comedy comes from attempts to keep within these rules and the banter among the participants. For science fiction and fantasy authors, the possible topics are endless. Contestants include Seanan McGuire (Down Among the Sticks and Bones), Gail Carriger (Imprudence: The Custard Protocol #2), Sam Sykes (An Affinity for Steel), Jason Hough (Injection Burn), Brandon Mull (Death Weavers: Five Kingdoms Book 4), and Sarah Beth Durst (The Reluctant Queen).
